Rooster Walk 11 band lineup completed with additions of Sam Bush, Steep Canyon Rangers, many more

This just in from the good folks over at Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival:

MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA — Sam Bush Band, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sierra Hull and Ghost Light are among the final list of bands announced for the 11th annual Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival. Other new additions include:  The Steel Wheels, The Black Lillies, ‘Yarn Morrison’ (Yarn’s tribute to Van Morrison), Runaway Gin, The Trongone Band, Sanctum Sully, Disco Risqué, Kate Rhudy, Adar, The Folly, Chamomile & Whiskey, Prosperity’s Folly, The Drove, and MHC Praise Band.

Rooster Walk 7 adds five more bands to lineup including Donna the Buffalo, PBR

Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival has added five more bands to its already impressive lineup for Rooster Walk 7 set for May 21-14 at Pop’s Farm in Axton, Va.  The acts are MerleFest and FloydFest favorites Donna the Buffalo as well as the People’s Blues of Richmond, Stop Light Observations, The Congress and Anthony Rosano & The Conqueroos.  Continue reading →

Rooster Walk 7 Music and Arts Festival announces initial lineup, early-bird ticket sales for May 21-24, 2015, event event

Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival organizers have announced the initial lineup for Rooster Walk 7 set for May 21-24, 2015. The event will feature Yarn (Saturday and Sunday), Southern Culture on the Skids (Thursday), the Kings of Belmont, After Jack, Major & the Monbacks and Lizzy Ross.

“We’re super excited to welcome SCOTS into the fold for the first time, and thrilled to bring the other five Rooster Walk vets back again,” says Johnny Buck, Rooster Walk executive director.
